「由藝術家許淑真與建築、社區營造學者盧建銘所合作的《植物新樂園：「逆境中的植物﹣台灣本島」系列》，以最近發生於台灣桃園的阿美族原住民撒烏瓦知（Sa`owac）部落事件為文本，跨越了地理學、生態學、人類學、和社會學領域的相互對話，講述一個在時代變遷中不停成長的群體生命。作品涵蓋特定地點、族群和時間的人文研究，並以物質文化的角度去敍述、反思邊緣社群的文化遭遇和急速變遷中的環境現實。

Plant-Matter NeoEden: “Plants in Adverse Environments—Taiwan” Series, a collaborative art project by the artist Su-chen Hsu and the community empowerment scholar Chien-ming Lu, adopted as its text the recent event that took place in the Amis Sa’owac village in Taoyuan, Taiwan, crossing the boundaries between geography, ecology, anthropology and sociology and building dialogues between these fields. The project spoke of a communal life that has kept growing in a changing era, and covered the research in humanities of specific location, community and time, describing and reexamining from the angle of the material culture the cultural circumstance of marginalized communities as well as the reality in a rapidly changing environment.
